The Columbus Chamber of Commerce (Columbus Chamber) and the Columbus Urban League are continuing to join forces in an innovative partnership to advance a shared priority of improving racial inequities, specifically amongst Black entrepreneurs and businesses. From 2021 – 2024, this program has grown to include 105 businesses. Through this collaboration, businesses will become members of the Columbus Chamber community, providing access to everything from high-level consulting to social media, direct sales, and marketing support. As part of this partnership, the Columbus Chamber will aspire to connect black-owned business suppliers to Columbus Chamber member businesses. This program is generously supported by the City of Columbus. 💡 Read more: https://lnkd.in/ejTT8nG5!

Fascinating conversation this morning with Colleen Marshall and Michael Copella of CBRE at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce #CEOInsights series, touching on commercial real estate, economic development, workforce development and more. Copella says in terms of the CRE landscape, liquidity and financing remain challenging, but Columbus is "by far" the best spot in the Midwest. He says housing has to be part of the broader economic development strategy and challenged affluent suburban communities to do their part. "We have to lock arms and find ways to build housing at every single price point."
