This FREE 12-hour course is open to adults living in Franklin County. Learn essential computer and typing skills, improve your comfort with technology, and leave with the tools you need to succeed—plus, participants under 200% of the poverty line receive a free Chromebook (limited to one per family).
? To qualify, you must:
- Be a Franklin County resident
- Be 18 years or older
- Be from a household where no one else has already received a Chromebook through this program
- Be able to attend all in-person sessions and the virtual orientation
?? What to bring to orientation (virtual or in-person):
- Government-issued ID
- Proof of income (or eligibility for public assistance)
- A Gmail address & password (or be ready to set one up)
