City Year Columbus is an education-focused nonprofit organization that partners with Columbus City Schools to help keep students in school and on track to graduate. We are dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to the tools, resources and support they need to reach their full potential and be successful in school and beyond. City Year works closely with the school principals and teachers to determine which students need extra help, then implements individualized, data-driven solutions for each “focus list” student while providing support to the entire school community. City Year AmeriCorps members serve all day, every day throughout the school year to ensure that students are receiving the support they need both in and out of the classroom.
